Can you share some of your success stories?

Our coaches are all professional US based guidance counselors who have each worked with more than 1500 students with a 90% overall success rate of students being accepted into college. They have working relationships with the admissions officers at many top US Universities and Colleges. They are up to date on current trends in American higher education and have a good idea of what US Universities and Colleges are looking for. They care very much about the students with whom they work. They are not happy getting their students into any random college; their goal is to match each student with the RIGHT college.

Is the online advisor model less effective than meeting in person? Will there be someone in China to help with coordination and communication?

inCAP will have local partners in China who will assist with administration and intake, but we recognize that the people who best understand the American college application process are experienced, American guidance counselors who live in the United States. The online advisor model is the only way to have access to these genuine, US-based, US-trained, experienced guidance counselors. As such, the online model is the best way to provide this communication.

The inCAP team has decades of experience with managing virtual communication and connections. Our team has been providing this same virtual communication platform to deliver virtual language training for over 15 years. During this time, we have provided 6705 online/virtual courses to 14,864 students in over 52 countries.

When should we begin the inCAP program?

At inCAP, we believe 9th grade is the best time to begin the process to prepare students for studying in the United States. This gives us time to work with students during the preparation phase of the process to help them to be strategic in selecting classes and participating in extracurricular activities that will help them when they are ready to complete the college applications. This time in the preparation phase will also build students to be well prepared when they come to the US for college.

Do you provide standardized test preparation services (SAT, TOEFL, IELTS)?

Yes, inCAP provides test counseling services at an extra charge for SAT, ACT, TOEFL and IELTS test preparation. In addition, inCAP also provides additional workshops to help students succeed when they come to the US for college.

What is summer school?

Summer School is offered to qualified domestic and international high school students (going into 10th through 12th Grade) and currently-enrolled college students by American colleges and universities during summer break. Summer school usually takes place between the month of June and August; the duration of summer school programs is 2 to 8 weeks varying from school to school. There are three kinds of summer school programs: transfer credit-eligible, transfer credit-ineligible, and language programs. When are students eligible to participate in a summer school for American universities?

inCAP has relationships with many universities and can help facilitate student’s participating in those summer school programs. This is part of the preparation phase of the inCAP process. The coaches and mentors will work with the students to identify the right summer school opportunities that will be the best fit for them. We can work with students as early as 9th grade to find the right matching summer opportunity.

inCAP also has a 4-week English Immersion summer camp in the Upstate New York area. We take students between 9th grade and 11th grade. The program gives students a chance to learn English and tour area universities, including Ivy League universities and other top colleges. The program also gives students a chance to experience American culture by taking trips to nearby locations like New York City and Niagara Falls.

Do you provide services for helping students prepare their portfolio?

Yes. At inCAP, we are committed to assisting students prepare their full application. We can assist in the process of assembling a student’s portfolio.

What are the requirements for the virtual platform?

You will need to have your own personal computer with high speed internet. The following baseline Internet and computer specifications are recommended to participate.
